El Aguila is a bilingual newspaper founded in 1997 by Maximo Publications, Inc. The paper was a printed publication distributed throughout the Lower and Mid Hudson Valley in New York, covering Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess counties. It started as a monthly and in 2001 it became a biweekly newspaper.
As we approach our 20th Anniversary we have become a quarterly digital business magazine. And because of its bilingual platform and content, the paper is currently used by some teachers of the Spanish language as well as teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.
In its 20 years of publication, El Aguila has received awards and recognitions from local, state and federal government organizations. Now a digital magazine El Aguila is mostly oriented toward small and medium businesses and also publishes articles of interest about the issues that affect the Hispanic community such as Immigration, Education and Health among others.
The digital magazine is now published quarterly; however, news as well as important articles will feature in our weekly and daily updates in elaguilanews.com
The digital magazine may be printed and distributed during the Hispanic Heritage Day celebration in Westchester County, NY.
The contents of El Aguila and elaguilanews.com includes information that is pertinent to those in need of information about the Hispanic market and business information that helps small and medium businesses owners, and professionals such as executives and manager.
